Full name: Jaybird.
Nickname(s): Jay or J.
Age: 4 years.
Sexuality: Straight.
Species: Black leopard.
Height: 79 inches.
Weight: 162 pounds.
Length: 6.1 feet.
Appearance: Jaybird isn't your typical leopard, she's a black leopard, and a huge one at that. She's enormous as far as her species goes, pushing the limits. However, for her size, her weight is slightly lower than what it should be. That is due to the fact that she's undeniably feminine, despite her size, with a relatively slender torso compared to the rest of her body. Jay is fairly long and lanky. She's got strength, but her best attribute is her incredible agility. Since she's a black leopard, her fur is entirely coal-colored. Theoretically she still has spots, they're just in a shade that's impossible to see on her black undercoat. She holds her regal face high, sharp yellow eyes consistently alert. Jay grooms often, and her coat is normally shiny and glossy, marred only by the small pink scar running across her left jawbone.
Personality: Jay's a firecracker. Sharp wit and even sharper tongue. She's not afraid to speak her mind, even to a more dominant opponent. Typically she's not big on living in groups, prefers to live alone, but she's not dead set against forming a leopard clan that would rival the lion prides. This is simply because she can't stand the difference in power between the lions and the other cat species. A bit stand-offish at first, Jaybird can easily come off as grumpy and easily irritated. Her humor is dry and sarcastic. She's also quite fanatically religious.
She likes- fellow leopards, the rain, climbing trees, swimming, birds, and darkness.
She dislikes- lions, hunting on the ground, being helpless, being cornered, and unbearably hot days.
MORE TO COME EVENTUALLY.
History: Jaybird was born close to where she lives now. Her mother and father both participated in her upbringing. Her mother was a black leopard named Tamer, and her father was a normal leopard called Chai. Jay had two brothers, Maver and Xavier, both who survived to adulthood. They were a happy, peaceful family unit with few challenges besides finding their next meal.
Maver, Xavier, and Jaybird all took their leave from their parents upon the birth of their parents's second litter. Maver quickly found a lovely mate and started his own family. Xavier and Jaybird hunted and lived nearby their parents's territory for a few years. Xavier eventually found a mate as well, and left Jaybird on her own. The female black leopard had a good number of suitors, but she never settled on one.
Sadly, her parents perished in a drought a year back. After their death, Jaybird, as one of the oldest children of her parents, took over their rich territory. She rules there to this day, still young and in her prime.
